Grants for training may be available from Petans to individuals new to the offshore industries or customers who take new starts into the offshore, maritime, or offshore renewables / wind energy industries.

The Petans Bursary provides a discount of up to £200 off your costs for the following courses run at Petans training centre in Norwich:

• OPITO Basic Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)
• MCA standards for STCW basic vessel crew training
• Offshore renewables / wind turbines access training

Grants are available to individuals or payable direct to businesses, encouraging them to be active in recruiting new starts into the offshore industries.

Businesses must access this grant by contacting Petans for their new employees before they start work, or within one month of their employment starting.
