Petans have a second centre at Oulton Broad which is solely for Maritime training.
This has access to the North Sea but initial training is done in protected but tidal river areas.

Petans from this base can provide basic and refresher training to both offshore oil and gas, maritime and standby
vessel industries. As with all training there may be some prerequisite courses or minimum levels of sea time required
