This course is designed to meet the STCW 95 criteria for short training programmes and will enable delegates to respond to emergency situations involving fires onboard ship.

Delegates successfully completing the course will have gained knowledge and experience in:
Basic fire prevention.
Basic theory of combustion.
Breathing apparatus and associated equipment.
Fire extinguishers.
Duties of a fire party member.
