This course is designed to meet the OPITO standard and
provide live fire training for personnel to serve as Team Leader of a Offshore Emergency Response Team on an
offshore installation.
Attendance is open to delegates who are preferably in
possession of a current OERTL or suitable alternative
certification.
A minimum requirement is that the Team Leader has
previously undertaken OERTL training.
Delegates successfully completing the course will have
gained knowledge and experience in:
Maintaining communications.
Allocating and confirming the fire teams duties
and tasks.
Monitoring and actioning the response plan.
Monitoring stress in self and others.
De-briefing the team.
Certificates carry an expiry date, requiring the holder to undertake 'Further Training' in line with the Oil & Gas UK Guidelines.
