Further Offshore Emergency Response Team Member.
OERTM R (OPITO) Duration 2 days.

This course is designed to meet the OPITO standard and provide live-fire training for personnel required to serve as an Offshore Emergency Response Team member on an offshore installation.

Pre-requisite training for a delegate is ideally possession of a current Offshore Emergency Response Team Member Certificate or suitable alternative certification.
A minimum requirement is that the delegate has previously undertaken Fire / Emergency Response Team Training.

On successful completion, delegates will have achieved practical knowledge of:
Locating and handling casualties.

Selecting and using portable firefighting equipment.
Extinguishing a fire and / or securing an area.
Conducting and controlling breathing apparatus operations.
Maintaining communications.

Certificates carry an expiry date, requiring the holder to undertake the 'Further Training' in line with the Oil & Gas UK Guidelines.

OPITO certification & registration.
Assessment costs.
Log book registration.
