This course is designed to meet the OPITO standard and
provide further live fire training for personnel required to
serve as members of an offshore Emergency
Helideck Team.
Pre-requisite training for the delegate is the possession of
either a current Offshore Emergency Helideck Team Member certificate or suitable alternative.
A minimum requirement is that the delegate has previously
undertaken Emergency Helideck Team Training.
Certificates carry an expiry date, requiring the holder to
undertake 'Further Training' in line with OPITO standards.
Delegates successfully completing the course will have
gained knowledge and experience of:
Selecting and using equipment.
Extinguishing a fire and / or securing an area.
Locating and handling casualties.
Course fees include:
OPITO certification and registration.
Assessment costs.
Log book registration.
