Designed to meet the OPITO standard for further practice requirements not achievable offshore and to give HLOs experience while conducting/controlling HDAs during live-fire scenarios.

Prerequisite training
Possession of a current BOSIET or FOET certificate, Offshore Emergency Helideck Team Member certificate or suitable alternative, and a CAA Radio Licence issued in the UK.

Course content
Delegates successfully completing the course will have achieved practical knowledge of:

• Controlling the preparation for a Helideck emergency
• Controlling the response to emergencies

Recommended refresher training
Holder should undertake Further Training in line with the Oil & Gas UK Guidelines.
