Designed to meet the OPITO standard to train personnel required to serve as a member of an Emergency Helideck Team on a Normally Unattended offshore Installation.

Prerequisite training
Possession of a current BOSIET or FOET certificate or suitable alternative.

Course content
Delegates successfully completing the course will have gained knowledge and experience of:

• Role of NUI HTM
• Emergency Response
• Passenger Handling
• Helicopter operations, recognition, construction and associated hazards
• Maintaining, cleaning and carrying out service checks on BA sets
• Helideck communications, features and equipment
• Internal/external helicopter firefighting

Recommended refresher training
Holder should undertake Further Training in line with the Oil & Gas UK Guidelines.
