This course meets the requirements of current legislation and
prepares personnel for the hazards associated with work in
confined spaces.
It is recommended that the course is attended every two years.
Course contents:
Course introduction and safety brief.
Registration.
Confined space regulations.
Properties of gases.
Brief overview of risk assessments. Emergency response arragements.
Escape protection, equipment theory practice short duration breathing apparatus.
Overview of rescue equipment and gas testers
Wash up and end of course debriefing

Flammable ranges of different gases.
Gas testing principles and procedures.
Practical skills.
Petans provide all PPE and carry out competency based assessments on all delegates.
