It is recognised world-wide.
Each certificate carries an expiry
date, requiring the holder to
undertake 'Further Training'
according to national standards
(OLF and OPITO).
Course includes:
Basic Offshore Safety, Induction &
Emergency Training (BOSIET) for UK,
Dutch & Danish sectors.
Basic Safety & Emergency
Preparedness Training for Norwegian
waters (OLF).
Delegates successfully completing the
course will have gained knowledge of:
The offshore industry. Helicopter escape training
including Norwegian Immersion Suit, HUET and EBS.
Personal survival. TEMPSCs lifeboat and rafts. Post escape
first aid. Firefighting (basic extinguishers and self rescue).
Permit to work system. Escape Chute.
