This unique training course provides the essential competence in safe
work at height, access, evacuation and rescue required by technicians
working in the UK wind energy sector. It also extends the skills of
Competent Climbers to the extrication of a colleague trapped in the
hub compartment, including the use of stretchers.

None.

After completion the participant will have achieved assessed skills and knowledge of:

• Safe Access to Wind Turbines
• Work at Height Emergencies
• Basics of Emergency Care
• Incident Command and Control
• Hub Access Procedures
• Casualty Packaging and Stretchers
• Rigging Extrication Systems
• Use of the Miller SafEscape ELITE

Recommended refresher training
It is recommended by Renewable UK that this course is retaken every 2 years.
