The course provides refresher training for those with a Full GWO Basic Safety Training Certificate gained within the last 2 years for those wishing to work in the on or offshore wind industry.

Prerequisite training

A Full GWO Basic Safety Training Certificate gained within the last 2 years.

GWO stipulate that all delegates participating in Basic Safety Training are physically and medically fit and capable of fully participating. Please note that prior to attending all GWO courses delegates should ensure that they are registered on the WINDA database and have their registration number available.  Delegate feedback can be found on our website GWO Feedback.

Course Content

Delegates successfully completing the course will have gained knowledge and experience of:

• GWO Sea Survival Refresher
• GWO Working at Height and Manual Handling Refresher 
• GWO First Aid Refresher 
• GWO Fire Awareness Refresher

Recommended refresher training

• 2 years full GWO refresher course.
