Prerequisite training

Completion of proficiency in advanced fire fighting or Updated Proficiency in Advanced Fire Fighting

Course content

Delegates successfully completing the course will have gained knowledge and skills to be able to:

• Understand how to control fire fighting operations aboard a ship
• Understand how to training and organise fire parties
• Understand how to inspect and service fire protection systems and equipment

Recommended refresher training

5 yearly in line with International Maritime Organisation and Maritime & Coastguard Agency Guidelines.
