2 Day MINIMUM INDUSTRY SAFETY TRAINING COURSE (MIST)

The aim of the MIST programme is to introduce delegates to the key safety elements required by all employees working in the Offshore energy industry.

Course content

Delegates successfully completing the course will have gained knowledge of:

• Introduction to the hazards offshore environment
• Working safely
• Risk assessment
• Permit to work
• Asset integrity
• Manual handling
• COSHH
• Safe Working at Height
• Mechanical lifting

Recommended refresher training

Reassessment online every four years

Course fees include:

• Issue of  OPITO certificate on completion - email only, delegates are asked to provide their email address, failure to do so will result in the certificate being emailed to the course booker
• OPITO registration
• Vantage registration
• Course certification in Log Book
