We continue that ethos today. Petans still provide offshore OPITO accredited training from the base in the South Eastern UK but increasingly are accrediting courses and training for the wider energy based market.
As a Registered Charity (290458) we offer the best costs in training to Marine personnel for the required basic MCA standards as well as basic and advanced maritime firefighting.
This marine and offshore focus brings us into the renewables industry where we provide marine installation and offshore turbine transfer training.
In 2011 we will add to our list by working in conjunction with other competent and skilled trainers. With Phil
Hitchen Oilfield training we are providing Norwich based courses in Well control.
With Gardline and East Coast
Training we will offer Boat travel and Turbine transfers.
During 2011 hope to add further to these collaborations with working at heights and rope access training using Petans newly commissioned tower training facility, and to strengthen the renewables portfolio with Training in solar fitting and installations.
